Clayton County, Feb. 17, 1852

Mr. Editor: - If Dr. Frederic Andrews of Clayton Co., will consent for the use of his name as a candidate for State Senator, he will receive the unanimous support of the Democracy of Clayton, Fayette and Allamakee Counties. The Doctor is a thoroughgoing Democrat, one that can be relied on as a pioneer of the country, and popular with his party; having upon a former occasion represented this portion of the country in the Territorial Legislature of Iowa.
