Matt - Berns marriage - 1932

Miss Alberta Berns, niece of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Berns of Guttenberg, and Mr. Arthur Matt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Matt of Garber, were united in marriage by the Rev. H. Scharphoff at St. Joseph's Catholic church at Garnavillo Wednesday morning, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The couple was attended by Miss Berniece Matt, sister of the groom, and Mr. Eugene Berns, brother of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Matt will go to housekeeping on a farm near Edgewood. Both young people are well and favorably known in this community, and the best wishes of a host of friends go with them on their journey through life.
