Last Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock in the Immaculate conception church at Fairbanks occurred the marriage of Miss Dode Ryan of Fairbanks and Louis McTaggart of this place, the Rev. Father W. J. Torpey officiating. Paul Miller and John Peters, nephew of the groom served mass. They were attended by the bride's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ryan.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. John Ryan of Fairbanks and has a large circle of friends. The groom is a son of Mrs. Ellen McTaggart of this place and has made no mistake in choosing his life's partner. A reception and wedding breakfast was held at the home of the bride's mother to only the near relatives.

Later in the day the newlyweds left on a motor trip to Sioux City and Cherokee for a visit with relatives. Upon their return they will be at home on a farm northwest of Fairbanks. Congratulations are extended to them for a happy wedded life.
