The marriage of Mrs. Florence Holland to James Shea, both of this vicinity, occurred at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, October 27. Rev. D. P. Cregan, pastor of the Sacred Heart church performed the ceremony before the Nuptial mass. The couple were attended by Miss Opal Milz and Joe Milz of Creco, sister and brother of the bride. Immediately following the ceremony they were served breakfast at the home of her sister, Mrs. Joe Shea. In the afternoon they left for a wedding trip to Cedar Rapids and other points. They will make their home on the groom's father's farm in highland township. Mrs. Shea is the daughter of Charles Milz of Cresco. For the past year she has made her home with her sister in Highland. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Shea of Dubuque, former resident of this community.
