At a beautiful autumn candlelight wedding at six o'clock Saturday evening in the Lutheran church, Rev. H. F. Kumpf united in marriage in a double ring ceremony Ida Ann Zieman, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Zieman, and Lawrence Baade, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baade.
Leading the bridal procession were two ushers, Curtis Zieman, brother of the bride, and Harold Kumpf. They were followed by the bridesmaid, Mrs. Irvin Deering and the matron of honor, Mrs. Virgil Kaiser, both cousins of the bride. Preceding the bride was the flower girl, Phyliss Zieman, sister of the bride. The bridal party was met at the alter by the groom and his attendants, Virgil Kaiser and Irvin Deering.
After the ceremony the bridal party and relatives were entertained at a reception at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Baade left at midnight on a trip to Hartford, S.D. Upon their return they will be at home to their friends in the upper rooms of the Fred Landt home.
