Monona: Miss Jane Ellen Rittenhouse, the elder daughter of Editor and Mrs. H. S. Rittenhouse, was married Wednesday to Raymond Hildebrand at high noon in the Pilgrim Evangelical church, the Rev. W. L. Zeller officiating in the presence of a large number of friends.
Grace E. Rittenhouse, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Mrs. Chas. Havlicek acted as matron of honor. Misses Julia May Frazier of Minneapolis, Donna Meffert of Waterloo, and Evelyn Ferguson, teaching at Dumont, Iowa, were the bridesmaids. Joan Welch was the flower girl.
The best man was Everett Drahn, Ushers were Martin Hayes of Waukon, Harvey Schriver of McGregor and Joe Lambert of Monona.
A wedding dinner was served by the Misses Davis at their home and in the afternoon the happy couple left for a honeymoon trip to Chicago.
Mrs. Hildebrand is a graduate of the local high school class of 1930 and also attended Cornell college at Mt. Vernon. The bridegroom graduated from West High at Waterloo in 1930 and also attended a technical school in Los Angeles.
The new home will be in Waukon after November 1.
