Gehring - Walter marriage - 1949

Miss Elaine Walter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Walter of Luana, became the bride of Lowell Gehring, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gehring of Wadena, Thursday morning, June 30, at the parsonage at St. Olaf. The Rev. S. J. Strandjord read the single ring ceremony.

Miss Joann Walter, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, LeRoy Gehring, as best man.

A dinner was served at the bride's home for the immediate families following the wedding. In the evening a wedding dance was held at Postville in their honor.

After a brief wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Gehring will make their home with his parents near Wadena.
