Strawberry Point: Miss Cecile Ann Farmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey J. Farmer of Strawberry Point, and Francis E. Quinn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Quinn of Elkader, were married here Saturday morning. The Rev. Wilfred Kress read the double ring ceremony at 8:30 in St. Mary's Catholic church.

Attending the couple were the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Leonard of Elkader. Gerald Dougherty of Elkader was usher and Robert Cox and Donald Scheffert of Elkader were servers of the mass.

A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents to the immediate families and a wedding dance was held at Garnavillo Saturday evening.

Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of St. Joseph's high school in Elkader and both are employed in Dubuque, Mrs. Quinn at Tony's lunch and Mr. Quinn at the Dubuque Packing company. After a trip to Canada they will be at home at 955 West 3rd street in Dubuque.
