Miss D'Elda Mae Palas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur F. Palas of Luana, and Alvin Benhard Erickson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Erickson of Postville, were married Wednesday afternoon, June 29. The double ring ceremony was performed at the Luana Lutheran church by the Rev. Paul Adix.
Miss Dolores Erickson, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. The bridegroom was attended by his friend, Mr. Glenn Wiegman of Fort Wayne, Ind. Little Sally Doerring, the bride's second cousin, was flower maid.
Mrs. Erickson is a graduate of Luana high school and attended Dubuque university for two years. She has been employed at the Luana bank for the past one and one half years.
Mr. Erickson attended Clermont high school and Tri-State college. He served in the Army during the war and since has been employed on his father's farm.
