The wedding ceremony of Miss Rose Ehrhardt and Myron L. Matsler was solemnized Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic church. The Very Rev. B. H. Skahall, pastor of the church, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. Ehrhardt, Elkader, and the bridegroom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Winn Matsler of Rantoul, Ill.
Mrs. Larry Berns of Strawberry Point attended her sister as matron of honor and Gerald Matsler, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Charles Matsler and Mike Ehrhardt, brothers of the bridal couple.
Following the wedding a breakfast for the bridal party was served at the home of the bride's parents, and a reception was given in the afternoon at the Vets' club. After the reception the couple left for a wedding trip to points in Minnesota and Illinois.
Mrs. Matsler owns the Marguerite beauty shop here. She is a graduate of St. Joseph's high school, Elkader, and the Waterloo School of Beauty Culture. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Hindsboro high school at Hindsboro, Ill. He came to Elkader a year ago and was associated with the Flack Goodyear store until March 1, when he became instructor at the Elkader airport.
The couple will be at home after July 1 in the upstairs apartment of Mrs. M. J. Poull

Matsler and Swede Swanson, both of Rantoul, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. John Gerholz, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Dorothy Steverson, Shell Rock; Dr. and Mrs. M. L. Knutson, Clear Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Ehrhardt, Hawkeye; and Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Oelke, Maquoketa.
