The marriage of Miss Myrna Mae Costigan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Costigan of Elkport, and Walter R. Copeland, son of Mrs. F. B. Copeland and the late Dr. F. B. Copeland of Logan, Iowa, took place at St. Paul's Lutheran chapel in Iowa City, June 18.
The bride's only attendant was Miss June Storm, Fremont. The best man was George P. Berry Jr. of Logan. Joe F. Copeland and Donald M. Bloom of Logan were the ushers.
The bride will graduate from the University of Iowa in the college of education in February, 1950. The bridegroom will graduate from the university in the college of commerce in June, 1950. He is affiliated with the Pi Kappa Alpha social fraternity and the Alpha Kappa Psi national commerce fraternity.
The couple will reside in Aurora, Colo., during the summer months, where the bridegroom will be stationed at Lowry Field. After August 15 their new home will be made at 309 South Clinton street, Iowa City.
