Miss Jeanette Brownson of Sarasota, Fla., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brownson of Monona, Iowa, chose the Flamingo colony, home of the bridegroom's parents in Sarasota, Fla., as the setting for her Sunday afternoon marriage to Joseph E. Pace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Pace of Sarasota. The double ring ceremony was performed May 29 by the Rev. Luther Willer, pastor of Concordia Lutheran church, in the natural tropical setting of the court.
The bride's sister, Miss Berna Jean Brownson, was her only attendant. Paul Pace was best man for his brother. Guests remained after the ceremony for a buffet luncheon.
Mr. and Mrs. Pace are honeymooning at the bride's former home at Monona. They plan to return to Sarasota June 16.
Mrs. Pace was graduated from the Kahler School of Nursing at Rochester, Minn., and she has been employed at Sarasota hospital. The bridegroom, a graduate of Sarasota high school, served in the United States Navy during World War II. At present he is employed as cashier-bookkeeper at the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. in Sarasota.
Out of town guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brownson and Berna Jean Brownson of Monona; and Mrs. Elizabeth Pace, grandmother of the bridegroom, Miss Doris Pace and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hardy, all of Detroit, Mich.
