Voshell - Hubbell marriage - 1949

VOSHELL, HUBBELL, BORDEN

The marriage of Arthur E. Voshell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eneas Voshell, and Mrs. Dorothy Hubbell, daughter of Mrs. Cora Borden, all of Volga, took place Sunday, Jan. 23, at the Methodist manse.

The Rev. Leslie J. Faris, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Voshell of Oelwein, cousins of the bridegroom.

The bride wore a blue street length dress with gray coat and matching accessories. Her attendant was also dressed in blue.

Following the ceremony they were entertained in the bridegroom's parents home. The couple will live in Volga.
