The Monona Methodist church was the scene of a holiday wedding Tuesday, Dec. 28, when Miss Kathleen Gordon became the bride of Duane D. Lange. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gordon of Monona, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Lange of Froelich. Both are graduates of Monona high school.

The maid of honor was Miss Jeanne Harris of Postville. Miss True Marie Jasman and Miss Geraldine Mueller were the bridesmaids. Attending the bridegroom was his cousin Bennett Lange of Luana, and Gaylord Thompson and Donald Brommelkamp were groomsmen. Ushers were Harold Weinkie and Robert Drahn.

A reception for 140 guests was held in the church parlors immediately following the service. Hostesses were: Miss Patricia Wirkler of Monona and Miss Barbara Witter of McGregor. Miss Marcia Krippene poured and Miss Phyllis Lamker cut and served the decorated four-tier wedding cake. Mrs. Robert Butler had charge of the guest book.
