Elkader Register, Fri., 16 June 1882.

At the residence of the bride's parents in Elkader, on Tuesday, June 13, 1882, by W. A. Skinner, J.P., Mr. M.O. Partch to Miss Carrie M. Schroeder.

The groom is well known in Elkader, having lived here for a number of years, but is now engaged in the creamery business at Rock Rapids, Lyon county, and is known as an honest, upright young man.

The bride is a daughter of our well known fellow-townsman, Louis Schroeder, and is a highly accomplished young lady, who has a host of friends won by her amiable manners and many womanly virtues.

Immediately after the ceremony the happy couple left for La Crosse where they will visit with friends for a short time, after which they will settle down to house-keeping at Rock Rapids. The Register wishes them much joy and happiness.
