Elkader Register, Fri., 8 Dec. 1882.

Another of those very pleasant and happy events, which it is our pleasure to record, occurred at Elkader, on Tuesday, being the marriage of Mr. P. J. Cain to Miss Maggie Losch, both of this township. The wedding ceremony was performed at the Catholic church, by Rev. Father Quigley, in the presence of a number of the immediate relatives of the parties.

The Register can most certainly add its congratulations to those of a host of admiring friends, knowing as it does that both parties are well suited for each other, and that naught but joy and happiness can be the fruits of such a union.
