Forbes - Hold Marriage 1903

Married- At the home of the bride's parents at Volga, on June 23rd at 8:30 p.m., by Rev. W. H. McCuskey, Mr. Albert C. Fobes and Miss Elsie B. Hold. This was a very quiet wedding only the immediate families being present. Miss Hold is the daughter of Mr. Hold and wife, who came here two years ago from Jefferson, Iowa. She has won all friends by her pretty and graceful ways and that Mr. Forbes is to be congratulated is the popular opinion. Mr. Forbes is a nephew of Mrs. O. Davis, of Elkader, and Mrs. J. Lowe, formerly of our city. Bert came here from Ohio and made many friends. He is now a railway mail clerk residing at Eagle Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Forbes left Wednesday for Ohio and Niagra Falls and other points and will be at home at Eagle Grove Aug. 1st.
