Yesterday, Tuesday, June 30th, at 4 p.m. occurred the marriage of Will H. Lathrop, of Beloit, and Miss Jessie Barnes, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Brandt, Rev. Braun, of Farmersburg, conducting the ceremony. The attendants were Oscar E. Maurer, groomsman, and Miss Hulda Brandt, bridesmaid. The bride was charmingly attired in a gown of white chiffon with lace trimmings. The bridesmaids dress was of blue striped grenadine. The bride is one of our most accomplished young ladies and for several years a teacher in our High School, always kind and considerate to all with whom she has came in contact. Her circle of friends, who extend best wishes for the new life before her, is a very large one. Mr. Lathrop, who is a stranger here, receives our heartiest congratulations on the lady of his choice. Mr. and Mrs. Lathrop left last evening for their future home in Beloit. Those from out of town who attended the wedding were: Oscar E. Maurer, Beloit; Miss Fay Fessenden, Boston; Mrs. Lafe Roesche/Boesche and daughter Ruth, Fort Recovery, Ohio; Mrs. Will Brum and children Hazel and Lester, Dubuque.
