MARRIED.

PHELPS--CARRIER.--In the Baptist Church, Strawberry Point, July 23d, 1882, by Rev. Mr. Perry, Mr. C. A. Phelps, of Humboldt, Ia; and Miss Libbie M. Carrier, of Strawberry Point, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Carrier.

The marriage last Sabbath evening of Charles Phelps, of Humbolt, and Miss Libbie Carrier, of Strawberry Point, was announced fully two weeks in advance, and long before the hour arrived the Baptist church was filled to its utmost capacity. Rev. Perry performed the ceremony.

The bride is the only child of our esteemed townsman, L. F. Carrier. The groom is an old "Point" boy and well known and respected by all. He will not, however, be missed so much in Sunday school.

They departed for their future home in Humbolt last Tuesday morning. May peace and prosperity attend them through life
