- Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schroeder and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stockburger were Wednesday evening visitors in the Wayne Chamberlain home.

- Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bugenhagen and Mabel Nielsen were callers in the Laura Sass home Sunday afternoon.

- Dale Goeke, Waverly, visited Evelyn Duwe on Friday evening and again on Sunday evening.

- Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Stockburger were Thursday evening supper guests of Marie Zieman.

- Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mattsfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernhard Pal as were supper guests in the Clifford Walter home on Tuesday evening.

- Charlene Jones, Postville, was a recent visitor of Evelyn Duwe.

- Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bugenhagen attended the funeral of Mrs. Leonard Wagner in Ossian De Sales Church Thursday morning.

- Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wentz, Menomonee Fal1s, WI, were Wednesday luncheon guests of Mrs. Margaret Hangartner.

- Mr. and Mrs. Don Landt, Karl and Jessi, Marion, were Sunday overnight guests in the Harvey Landt home. Jessi remained for a longer visit with her grandparents.

- Mrs. Margaret Hangartner returned last Monday after visiting in the Ron Hangartner home in Solon.

- Mrs. Elsa Gossman and Mr. and Mrs. William Staley returned August 7th from a six week trip to Wyoming and Montana. Enjoying a visit with their family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale A. Howard, Billy and Becky, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Howard, and Trevor, of Great Fal1s, MT, sightseeing Gates of the Mountains near Helena, MT and the Diabetic Camp near Bozeman, MT, spending 4-1/2, weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Hegge and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Glover in Sundance, WY, helping on the ranch, including a 5-1/2 day tour with Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Hegge, to the Big Horn Mountains, Yellowstone Park, the Tetons and a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Merle Funk and grandchildren of Ten Sleep and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kocan of Cody, WY. Enroute home they spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stowsand of Hartford, SD.
