- Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mattsfield of Darwin, MN, were Monday and Tuesday visitors in the Bernhard Palas home. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Walter joined them for supper Monday night.

- Gwen Evarts and boys, Dubuque, spent the weekend in the Ron Gordon home.

- Lynn and Dianne Fox, and Nicholas, Elwood, NE, and Roger Gehring, Aurora, CO, spent the weekend in the Lowell Gehring home.

- Mr. and Mrs. Bernhard Palas were visitors Saturday in the Wayne Deerberg home in Tipton and also called in the James Beneke home in Marion Saturday evening.

- Last Monday dinner guests at the Lowell Fox home were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Winfield, Ogden, IA, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Drahn, Felix Moritz and Ronald Fox. Mrs. Moritz joined them in the afternoon. The men enjoyed some golfing.

- Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Walter attended the Nesteby picnic at the James Nesteby home at Decorah, Sunday.

- Mr. and Mrs. Jim Baker and Vickie, Postville, were last Monday dinner guests of Evelyn Duwe.

- Mrs. Ramon Sass and Laura Sass were Thursday evening visitors in the Walter Bugenhagen home.

- Donna Trumblee visited from Wednesday until Sunday at the Big River Campground at Prairie du Chien, with Mr. and Mrs. Robert VanWey, Brenda and Brent of Marion.

- Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meyer, Sr. and Margaret Hangartner were supper guests Tuesday evening in the Harley Radloff, Sr. home.

- The Brian Bailey family visited the Dennis Bailey family in Port Byron, IL for a long weekend.
