Most of the COE's in America are descended from either John COE [my husband's line] or John's younger brother Robert COE - most prolific line. Both came to CT in the 1630's. The COEs out West probably are descended from one or the other of these brothers; but the only genealogy I have, via Marlene and also Richard E. COE, is from John COE and his descendants who eventually settled in Scriba, N.Y.
