In searching the Atlantic newspapers, I found lots of references to Gold Hill school and Gold Hill Church, described as being in Franklin Township and "southwest of Wiota." I think the school may have been on Lansing Road at 670th(?) st. The church may have been a mile or two east. There is an abandoned church on Lansing Road at N23 (690th St?) that could be it. Appreciate your checking!
