My ancestor married Thoma P. Dinwiddie brother to David Dinwiddie who it is believed wrote the journal later titled 'Overland to Oregon". My family name is HENDERSON, but the Wilsons, Dinwiddies and Hendersons intermarried for several generations. Not always counsins but "in-laws". My particular family met up with David's party at Council Bluffs or there abouts.
