According to the WPA Cemetery records, there are two Hess names listed:

Harriet Hess, Born 7-18-1834 - Died 12-24-1910
Nathan Hess, Born 4-4-1840 - Died 8-28-1911

both buried in Poyner Cemetery, Poyner Township, Black Hawk County in Section 2, Row 8. There are no other Hess names in the WPA Cemetery records which recorded names up until about 1935-37. Burials after those years are usually not included. Don't know if Nathan is a brother or not. Poyner Township Cemetery is located in Poyner Township, Section 15, on the corner of Gilbertville Road & Indian Creek Road.
