Hess's brothers

I am looking for Nicholas Hess's brothers. I believe that there's 2 of them. Nicholas and his brothers stowed away from Germany in about 1861. Nicholas settled in Black Hawk Co. And one brother went to Carrol Co. and became a banker. The other brother settled near Black Hawk Co. and I believe became a successfull farmer. If someone could help me find the two brothers and their names.
