So does that mean Alma Hall Maring was born back in Belmont County, Ohio? If so, when? Did she meet and marry Samuel Maring in Belmont County and then move to Iowa?
Thank you very much for providing the names of Alma's parents. I do not think anyone else had that information. How did you find out about this info?
I thought Alma's family background would be difficult to find out about because (1) Alma moved to Iowa from somewhere no one knows about yet (although there are already information about where the Maring family came from) and (2) Alma herself died so long ago that people knew only a little about her. After all, my great-great-grandmother Catherine Hart must have been about a year old when her mother Alma died. I believe Catherine was the youngest child of Samuel Maring's marriage to Alma Hall. Sanford P. Maring was the first child born of Samuel's 2nd marriage to Juliza. And I think there are about 2 years or so in age between Catherine.. last child of the 1st marriage...and Sanford...1st child of the 2nd marriage.
You mentioned where Alma Hall Maring was buried. Could you please explain exactly where this cemetery is located? My family live in Wapello County, which is next to Monroe County. If I know exactly where this cemetery is, then I would be able to go visit it whenever I go visit with my parents.
