What I meant by my previous post was to secure a photocopy of the probate record from the microfilm. The MCPL has all of the microfilms containing the Appanoose County Probate records. Once you secure the data from the index you can secure the photocopy of the actual probate record from the microfilm owned by the MCPL.
There is in Appanoose County a probate record for a Richard S Warehime filed in 1879 - the only Warehime in the probate index. There is no Wireheim listed in the probate index.
In the Index of Probate Heirs, there is listed a David Wareheim; but no Wireheims.
To clarify what is available, the Appanoose County Genealogical Society has three publications related to probate records: (1) Probate Index, 1852-1920, (2) Probate Index, 1852-1988, and (3) in multiple volumes - Probate Heirs and Others, 1852-1988. Then, the ACGS had all of the probate records microfilmed which are available at several libraries including the Mid-Continent Public Library. The Probate Index, 1852-1988 and the Probate Heirs and Others, 1852-1988, are indexes of the microfilmed records and tell how to locate a specific record on the microfilms.
