Kathryn,

I just posted a very informative obit on this site for Catherine Rellihan 1856 - 1935, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brophy.

Note that it says she was born at Wexford, an abandoned town that was located on section 6 of Taylor township in Allamakee county, Iowa.

The obit also mentions a male survivor as being at Jefferson Barrick. I beleive this is a reference to Jefferson Barracks, a military post that is located south of St. Louis, MO., at LeMay, MO. There is a Jefferson Barracks cemetery located there.

I also note that the Woodmansee burial book and notes to that book do not list Catherine as being buried in Gethsemane cemetery at Lansing as the obit says. I have sent the Allamakee coordinator a note about it, referencing her obit. It is possible that she has no stone. It is also possible that her parents and husband are buried there.

I will try and find some info on Michael Rellihan and her parents tomorrow.
