Barbara and Nancy, What is the current state of your search? Did you make the connection to the families home in Stora Åby parish? I'm working on a project to identify the birthplaces of all Swedes in Iowa before 1870. I have a special interest in Center Baptist church congregants which you possibly could be of some help. Pastor Hamren came to Kiron and drowned in a flood. Let me know if I can be of help.
