Charles Andres owned a ranch (orange groves) right outside of Garden Grove. It was close enough to town, the children could walk to school. In the late 1920's Garden Grove was a very small town - one street. It had one store,a bakery,a library & the school was located several blocks out of town. You should be able to locate records in Orange county & Garden Grove & descendents of his son Paul.

If you know the date Maria Dee Andres passed away you could find out who the minister was at the time & go from there.
