Allen Barbour is in the unique position to obtain an official death certificate of his father. It is impossible for anyone else to do this. He must send a copy of his birth certificate to Alameda(60) California. Problems will be conflicting ancestry.com death records vs
Official Calif Death Index records. Leah apparently did not marry a Barbour, married a Theil. Ref Leah Theil 1930 Calif Census Santa Clara, Calif. James Barbour is listed as a stepson, b Missouri 6/6/1911-d 7/22/1965 Alameda
(60). Stepmother listed as Cummings, should be
Cummins. Be advised Calif Death Index does not share with Pay services. Go for the official
death certificate, before anything else. No one
but an immed son relative can do this in Calif.
