August 8, 2022: Added remaining "Surname References" for QuasQuiCentennial History Book of Anita, Iowa, Plant the Seeds and Realize the Dreams 2000, Family Histories Index. The Family Histories index is complete.
August 5, 2022: Added the Table of Contents for the QuasQuiCentennial History Book of Anita, Iowa, Plant the Seeds and Realize the Dreams 2000, and Family Histories Index. The "Surname References" column for the index is being compiled and currently is complete through "G". Remaining surname references will be coming soon.
July 19, 2022: Added T and U-V Surnames from the Name Index to Centennial History Book of Anita, Iowa, A Century Unfolds 1875 1975. The name index is complete. A huge thank you again to Glenna, Carolyn and Mary of the Cass County Genealogical Society!!

April 27, 2022: Added transcriptions of the first 3 pages of Brighton Twp. from the 1895 Iowa State Census and the last 2 pages for Cass Co. from 1895, which holds temporary Atlantic residents/visitors and revisits for multiple townships.
April 17, 2022: Added transcription of the remainder of Chapt. XXXIV Atlantic Township (pages 851-910) from the 1884 History of Cass County.
March 29, 2022: Added transcriptions of the 8th and 9th pages of the Turkey Grove Twp. 1860 Census. Turkey Grove Twp. is now complete. Thank you, Mary!
March 28, 2022: Added the remainder of the Atlantic Twp. Prominent Citizens section and the Grove City section from the 1884 History of Cass County.
March 27, 2022: Added transcriptions of Chapter I from the 1884 History of Cass County, and the Dedication and Preface; began reformatting this entire section to the new page design. Restored links to the Atlantic Township pages transcribed by Deb Lightcap-Wagner. Also added Chapter II and Chapter III.
March 25, 2022: Added transcriptions of the 6th and 7th pages of the Turkey Grove Twp. 1860 Census. Thanks to Mary Hoegh for transcribing!

March 14, 2022: Reorganized the Courthouse postcard views, separating images of the two Courthouse buildings from birdseye views from the old Courthouse dome. Added views of the Atlantic Elks Club Building, Chestnut Street and a birdseye view of Atlantic from the Railroad Yard contributed by David Shedlock.
March 13, 2022: Added six postcard views of three Atlantic motels, an additional view of the Congregational Church and a circa 1906 view of U. S. Grant Memorial Fountain in the City Park, all contributed by David Shedlock.

March 10, 2022: Added four historic postcards: a view of Anita Main Street, two views of the Atlantic Court House, and Greetings from Atlantic.
March 6, 2022: Added Physicians & Surgeons Plate 2 and Back Cover Advertisements from the 1904 Exposition Souvenir Album, containing photos of Dr. C. V. Beaver, Dr. H. E. Campbell and Dr. Chas D. Finley. These pages were damaged/missing in the copy of the Souvenir Album originally used for transcription and scanning, but a new copy in excellent condition was recently obtained.
