ALBERT ALONZA HARRIS was born in Randolph County, Indiana, on March 28, 1854. He married Matilda Freestone in 1874; she was born in July 29, 1859. Albert Alonza and Matilda Harris moved to a farm in Shelby County four miles north and two miles west of Marne about the year 1880. They had four children - Alonzo Virgil Harris, born January 10, 1879; died at Farmington, New Mexico, January 3, 1950; Olive Mae Harris, born August 30, 1881; died July 26, 1953 at Marne, Iowa; Foy Clifton Harris, born June 1, 1890; died September 14, 1947, at Kelso Washington; and Clio Blanche Harris, born December 10, 1891. Albert Alonzo Harris died February 27, 1908, at Marne, Iowa. Their daughter, Olive Mae Harris, married Austin McFadden on February 22, 1905, at Marne, Iowa.
