Clara Lillian Rhiner Christensen
6 August 1899 ---- 17 April 1961

Clara Lillian Rhiner was born Aug. 6, 1899 at Hardy, the daughter of Cassius and Laura Rhiner and passed away at her home on South Lucas St. in Eagle Grove on April 17. She moved with her family to Eagle Grove in 1914 where she has since made her home. She was graduated from the Eagle Grove High School. On March 21, 1917 she was married to Forrest Christensen. Mrs. Christensen was a member of the Methodist Church and for many years was a teacher in the Sunday School and also served as Sunday School pianist. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was known for her friendliness in all her associations.

For many years she was associated with her husband in the shoe business and for the past three years she was employed in the Houck Drug store in Eagle Grove.

Those who survive to mourn her passing are her mother, Mrs. Laura Rhiner, her husband, and a number of nieces and nephews and members of her husband's family.
