Ernest Leo Anderson
2 January 1903 ---- 6 April 1925

Ernest Anderson, son of W. H. Anderson, now from near Kanawha, died in the hospital in Iowa City Tuesday afternoon. He never fully recovered from the effects of injuries sustained in an auto accident on the gravel road near Kanawha on the 25th of last October. He entered the hospital at Iowa City for treatment Jan. 16 and remained there until his death. The funeral services will be held in the Methodist church here Friday afternoon. Rev. Ortmeyer of the Kanawha M E church having charge, assisted by Rev. Muhleman.

The deceased was a graduate of the local high school and for about a year was manager of the Rose Motor Co. garage. He was assisting his father on the farm near Kanawha. Our readers will recall the accident which caused his death, the Anderson and Espe cars colliding on the road south of Kanawha. Anderson sustained a broken nose and other injuries.
