Thomas Pearce Trowbridge
21 September 1882 ---- 5 October 1965

Funeral services for Thomas P. Trowbridge, 83, of Fort Dodge were held at St. Olaf Lutheran Church there Saturday. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Dows.

Mr. Trowbridge was born and raised in the Dows community. In 1921 he was married in Fort Dodge. They farmed in the Dows community for 20 years before coming to Fort Dodge in 1940. He worked as a feed salesman for several years before being employed by Geo. A. Hormel & Co. He had been retired for the past ten years. He was at one time a Clarion resident and is a cousin of the local Trowbridge families.

Mr. and Mrs. Trowbridge were visiting at the home of their daughter, Mrs. A. E. Shafer in Colorado Springs, Colorado when he became suddenly ill. He died at a hospital there Tuesday.

Besides his wife and daughter, other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert Rae of Denver, Colorado; a son, John of Billings, Montana and ten grandchildren.
