Edna E. Bauge
23 November 1896 ---- 14 April 1980

Funeral services were for Edna E. Bauge, 83 of Dows, were held at the United Presbyterian Church in Dows on Thursday, April 17, 1980 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Terry Palmer officiated and burial was in the Dows Fairview Cemetery.

Edna died Monday, April 14, 1980 at the Clarion Community Hospital. She was born November 23, 1896 in Dows and was the daughter of Theodore and Sarah Buge Gaulke. She was raised and educated in Dows.

She was married to Raymond Fryslie and they farmed around Dows until his death. She was later married to Elwood J. Bauge on June 9, 1948 in Clarion and they made their home in Dows. He died on August 31, 1967.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Royal Neighbors, Trident Clubs, Senior Citizens and the Kensington Club.

She is survived by five brothers and sisters: Mrs. Wayne (Inez) Bailey of Marysville, Washington; Orville Gaulke, Iowa Falls; Leo Gaulke, Ankeny, Avron Gaulke, Clarion and Mrs. Donna Belle Rosburg, San Pablo, California. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

The Willim Funeral Home in Dows had charge of arrangements.
