Esther Caroline Miller Beisner
21 November 1898 ---- 4 July 1955

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Beisner, 56, a resident of Vernon township for 35 years were held Wednesday afternoon at the Vernon Lutheran church, Rev. K. Winterfield officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery [Dows, Iowa].

Esther Caroline Miller was born near Waverly November 21, 1898. She was married to Fred H. Beisner January 6, 1920 at Vernon Lutheran church. After living a year at Waverly they moved to Vernon township which had been their home ever since.

She became ill with a diabetic condition over 20 years ago and in recent years she had submitted to surgery several times. She was hospitalized Saturday, July 2 and died at the Clarion hospital Monday, July 4.

Surviving are her husband; five children: Mildred, Ronald, Rose Marie, Evelyn (Mrs. Stanley) Denger Jr. and James all of Dows; three grandchildren; a brother and four sisters. Three children and a brother preceded her in death.
