Paul Benjamin Fanselow
15 October 1859 --- 24 April 1937

Dows - The funeral of Paul B. Fanselow, 77, was held Tuesday at the Presbyterian church. Burial was at the Morgan cemetery, east of Dows. Mr. Fanselow was born October 15, 1859 in Germany and came to this country in 1863 to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The family came to Iowa in 1878.

Two sons and three daughters survive: Walter and Carl Fanselow; Mrs. David Cuppett, with whom he lived; Mrs. Harry Adams and Mrs. Glen Watts, all of the Dows community. There are three grandchldren: Paul, Jeanette and Jeanice Cuppett and two brothers: Fred Fanselow, Dows and Henry Fanselow, Perry.

He died Saturday evening at the Lutheran hospital in Hampton after a short illness.
