Frederick Musk
10 August 1867 ----- 9 November 1941

Frederick Musk, son of James and Martha Musk, was born on a farm near Rossville, Ill., Aug. 10, 1867, and departed this life Nov. 9, 1941 at the age of 74 years, 2 months, and 29 days. He came to Eagle Grove in the spring of 1910. He was engaged in contract ditching with a brother, Perry, for several years.

On April 9, 1913, he was united in marriage to Mrs. Hanna Prehm of Eagle Grove, who with her family are left to mourn his departure. He was one of 8 brothers, James, George, Charles, and Perry having preceded him in death. The remaining brothers are William, Ernest, and Joseph, all residents of Hoopeston, Ill., besides a large number of nieces and nephews. Fred, as he was known to his many friends, was a quiet, industrious man. He was a good neighbor and loved his home dearly. During his illness of over 2 years, he was always patient and kind.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and family, as well as a host of friends.
