Albert John Barz
6 December 1900 ---- 6 April 1960

Dows - Albert John Barz, age 59, passed away very suddenly Wednesday night, March 6th enroute to the Mercy hospital in Mason City. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, April 9th at the Methodist church in Dows with Rev. Frank Considine, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery.

Albert John Barz was born December 6, 1900, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barz. On February 16, 1929 he was united in marriage to Eunice Jury of Dows and to this union one daughter was born.

Mr. Barz is survived by his wife; his daughter, Mrs. Ronald Bates of Iowa Falls; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barz of Allison; six brothers: Carl Barz of Clarksville; Herbert Barz of Dows; John Barz of Independence; Ernest Barz of Dows; Leo Barz of Latimer and Richard Barz of Allison and two sisters: Mrs. Louise Schutt of Fort Worth, Texas and Mrs. Durwood Jury of Dows.

Mr. Barz was employed as a plumber at Oler's Hardware Store in Dows.
