Dows - Orville Ball, 65, area farmer died Saturday at a Clarion hospital. Family services for Mr. Ball will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Willim Funeral Home. Public graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairview Cemetery with Rev. David Anderson, pastor of the First Lutheran Church officiating.

Mr. Ball was born May 9, 1905 in Rowan, the son of Charles and Viola (LaRue) Ball. He was a farmer all his life in the Rowan and Dows area.

He is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Edna Henley, Clarion; Mrs. Ed (Goldie) Wanken, Eagle Grove; Mrs. William (May) Spillet, Mason City and Mrs. Al (Isabel) Steenhard, Yuma, Arizona. He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
