John Christian Glade
18 September 1885 --- 7 November 1973

Dows - John Glade, 88, a longtime employee of the Wright-Franklin Telephone Company, died Wednesday at a Clarion hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Lutheran Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery. The Willim Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are a son, Willard of Dows; five daughters: Mrs. Margorie Stover, Dows; Mrs. Lyle (Ione) Erickson, Clear Lake; Mrs. Clair (Wilma) Dorr, Belmond; Mrs. Emmett (Dorothy) Fraser, Holmes; Mrs. M. V. (Glennavon) Parriott, Popejoy; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ms. Russell (Amelia) Picht, Iowa Falls.
