Alma Oberg Warberg
31 August 1870 ---- 8 June 1936

Alma Oberg was born August 21, 1870, at Wataga, Ill. and passed away from this life Monday, June 8, 1936, at her home in Eagle Grove, Iowa, at the age of 65 years, 9 months, and 18 days.

She was baptized into Christ Jesus in infancy, received instruction, and confessed her faith in the Evangelical Lutheran church at Wataga in her youth.

In 1896 she was united in marriage to Oscar Warberg and they lived on a farm near DeKalb, Ill. until 1903, when they came to Wright county, Iowa, living on their farm home near Eagle Grove until in the spring of 1935 at which time they retired into Eagle Grove.

Mrs. Warberg's health has failed for several years, but she has borne it patiently, until she passed away quietly Monday, June 8. She is survived by her husband and their two children, Mrs. Mabel Hay of Vincent, and Elmer Warberg at home, who now mourn the loss of a kind wife and mother, also by three grandchildren, Donald, Lorena, and Helen Hay, and by two brothers, Peter Oberg of Wataga, Ill., and William Oberg of Polk, Neb., and a large host of friends.

Mrs. Warberg was a kindly disposed lady and has enjoyed the friendship of a large number of friends by whom she will be missed. Funeral services were held at the Wilson Funeral chapel Thursday afternoon, June 11. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Rev. T. J. Severtson had charge of the service.
