18 July 1907 ---- 20 February 1937

The funeral of Ilo Zelmar Hall of Dixon, Ill., was held at the Kubitschek & Kastler funeral home on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, the Rev. Albert S. Kilbourn officiating. Appropriate duets were sung by Frank Wells and Mrs. Vina Hall. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery.

Obituary

Ilo Zelmar Hall, son of the late Edward and Laura Mundt Hall, was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, Jan. 18, 1907, and passed away at Dixon, Ill, Saturday Feb. 20, 1937, his age being at the time of his death, 29 years, 7 months, and 2 days.

He received his education in the schools of Eagle Grove and Dixon as he and his mother removed to Dixon in 1921, the father having lost his life on the C. & N. W. R. R. at Tama, Iowa, the preceding year, as he was performing his duty as a freight conductor.

He had been in ill health for 20 years. Since the death of his mother December 1935, his health has steadily declined.

He leaves to mourn their loss four sisters, Mrs. Goldie Peterson and Mrs. Hazel Wetter of Peoria, Ill., Mrs. Priscilla Smith, with whom he had made his home at Dixon, Ill., and Mrs. Georgia Middleton of Webster City, and three nephews, Earl Peterson and Lowell Smith of Peoria and Jack Wetter of Dixon, Ill. He was a nephew of Charles Hall and a cousin of Frank and Earl Hall of Eagle Grove.
