Mrs. Ole Askvig died in Des Moines last, week Saturday. Burial was made at Holmes Wednesday afternoon.

Obituary

Martha Wigen was born in Norway the 20th day of February, 1871 [1869].

She came, to America in 1894. She was married to Ole Askvig in 1895 and to this union was born seven children, three girls and four boys, one of the children, a little girl having died in infancy.

Mrs. Askvig died the 6th of November, 1920, at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 14 days.

Mrs. Martha Elene Askvig died in a hospital in Des Moines on November 6th. Funeral services were held the following Wednesday at Holmes, Iowa.

Martha Wigen was born in Norway the 20th day of February, 1869. She came to America in 1894. She was united in marriage with Ole Askvig in 1895 and to this union was born seven children, three girls and four boys, one of the children, a little girl having died in infancy. One daughter, Mabel who is in California was not present at the funeral. Mr. Askvig preceded his wife in death six years ago last June.
