OBITUARY.
Ole Berge, who moved from his home in Glenwood township to Decorah about three years ago, died Thursday last at his residence on Day street. Mr. Berge was born August 8, 1829, in Norway, and on coming to this country settled in Glenwood township. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son. The funeral was held at the First Lutheran church on Monday, Rev. I. B. Torrison officiating, and interment was made in the Norwegian cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born June 1, 1829 which does not agree with the above. He died Apr. 16, 1914 and is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
