Adolph G. Gunderson Dead.
Word came to Decorah last Monday that Adolph G. Gunderson, the Ossian druggist, had died on Sunday at the Old Sanitarium at Prairie du Chien, the cause of death being abscess on the brain, from which he suffered for about three weeks. In his death Ossian loses a young man who enjoyed a wide acquaintance, and many friends testify to his genial disposition. Mr. Gunderson was born February 6, 1888, and his home has always been in Ossian. He was married in 1912 to Mary Stangland and they have one daughter. He was a member of the Masonic and Elk fraternities, and the funeral, which was held yesterday at 2 p. m., the Masons were in charge of the service, the Knights Templars escorting the remains to their last resting place. Rev. Robert Tipton officiated at the funeral.
