OBITUARY.
Word came to Decorah relatives Tuesday morning of the death at Iowa City on Monday night of Mrs. Ann Jennisch-Goodwin, wife of Carl Goodwin, a former conductor on the Decorah branch of the Rock Island road. The cause of Mrs. Goodwin’s death was a complication of diseases. Many old friends here will join in extending condolence to the bereaved ones. Mrs. Goodwin was born in Decorah forty-three years ago and until her marriage with Mr. Goodwin, which occurred about thirteen years ago, her home was maintained here. She was a woman of genial disposition and will be missed by all who knew her. Besides her husband she is survived by her sisters, Mrs. F. D. Hutchinson and Mrs. B. J. McKay, and her brother H. J. Jennisch. The remains were brought to Decorah Tuesday afternoon and the funeral was held this morning at the St. Benedict’s church with interment in the Catholic cemetery.
